Honestly I’m in love with this thing. I thought this was a scam because it was advertised on Facebook but I bought it anyway. I love it. It’s really cool. It’s super well thought out. I have a 2016 accord and it snaps right in, it wiggles a little so I tried to rip it out and I couldn’t do it. I bought the fingerprint version. Really neat product.

27 years in Law Enforcement and after retirement, securing a weapon in the car has always been problematic. There are places one can't carry, such as courthouses or other Gov facilities and many times I've been forced to either hide the weapon in the car or put it in a lockbox which I didn't feel was the slightest bit safe. Most states dictate, to be legal, a certain type of lockbox had to be permanently bolted to the vehicle with drilled holes. The boosted seat is genius, using hard mounts already in every seat of modern cars, allowing you to chose multiple locations. Yes, technically its not 'bolted' to the frame, but I will argue it's just as secure. It's reasonably disguised and most thieves wouldn't give it a second look. If they did, the safe would be too difficult to open, much less remove. Room for other valuables as well. I'm a huge fan. The Faraday bag was an unexpected bonus!!!

I was looking for a secure solution for my valuables and/or firearm while traveling and finally found it! The Boosted Safe secures easily to the built in anchors in the back seat and it is camouflaged in plain view… easily overlooked as a child’s booster seat. I love the fact that I can easily remove it from my truck and bring it in a hotel room if needed. The only issue I had was programming the code and fingerprints, but it was me trying to rush the process. I did register my fingers multiple times to get more angles. Fun fact… if you have a Kuna (with magazine detached) and a Glock 17 both will fit. I am very happy with this purchase!!.

Fingerprint scanner works great. Easiest one I’ve had to setup. I had to use a little more effort attaching the clips than I thought I would have to. The fit is nice and tight. I would like to see the cover fit over the tether cable. I’m not sure if I’m going to keep that attached or not. I can see it looking down through the window.

Exactly what I wanted and needed. I hot the elite version because things happen. I love the fact that i can access it using a code, a key and ny finger print. What sold me was the isoflex compatibility-- this thing isn't going ANYWHERE without the car frame and I love that. High quality, great fit, and finish. The number pad and fingerprint sensor are very responsive, unlocking and opening quickly. This is the best-looking safe I've ever seen in a car, and the PU leather cover adds a touch of class and camouflage. It blends in with the black interior back seat of my Kia K5 and is secured firmly in place. It's not going anywhere, and the vast majority of people don't even notice it. Most portable gun safes I've seen hold one or two full-sized semiauto pistols, three at most. I can fit five in mine. I'm more than pleased with my purchase.

I am not happy with this web portal at all I was presented with three options. I love the bayonet design, the cheapest option shows a tethered cable as part of its included parts. There is no information on whether it actually has the bayonets. I already own safes with tethering cables. Which by the way are easily secured to the car seat by drilling small hole in the safe opposite the regular tethering hole. This hole should be just big enough for the smaller end of the tether cable to exit the safe. The looped end will securely hold inside the safe, and captive nut end will securely fasten normM supplied hole.
In conclusion I would be totally angered out my mind, if I got hoodwinked in a bait and switch sales promotion. I am going to tell anyone and everyone not to suckered by these sales promotions.

This safe is high quality and has 3 ways of accessing. Biometrics, keys or a combination you can set, and easily change if you need to. It has a lot of room and can hold a large laptop. It will hold 6 to pistols and has a lot of other uses. The steel is not flimsy at all, and I have complete confidence in the Boosted Safe Elite that I in my vehicle. I also truly believe the company really cares about their customers. They include a cable so you can securely lock your save to another area if you need you seat. They include a very high-quality cover with the Boosted Elite Safe and even print targets on the inside of the box they ship in. If that is not enough, they also include a nice document bag. Just got my Elite! Setup was a breeze! Locks into the seat and isn't going anywhere the car doesn't go! I had been pondering over it since last November! I have seen and used a few in car safes. This by far is the best due to it portability but most of all because it utilizes the bolted hard points of every car built in America or Foreign built. The hard points used to mount child safety seats. Genius Idea. This would makes it too time consuming for a car/truck burglar to want to steal. Love this product. My only problem I have found is the biometric reader working properly. It has difficulty reading your pre programmed thumb or fingerprint you setup. It’s very picky . It does work however. Nicely engineered idea with this safe and would recommend as a former Law Enforcement officer/Retired.

Love my safe. Took all of 5 minutes to unpack and program keypad and fingerprint reader. Easily locked into drivers side rear seat. Makes arming and disarming much easier. I didn’t think I’d be a fan of fingerprint reader but it’s been very fast and reliable.

I thought long and hard about gettin this safe and I am glad I did. It is very compact and not an obvious safe in the back of my 2025 Nissan Armada. It fits my Springfield Kuna with folded stock with about an inch to spare. The locking system is flawless and with a quick thumbprint or code I can access the interior. Great product and a more than fair price.

I was thinking of getting the safe for my middle console but needed something bigger for my laptop. This is perfect! I was a bit skeptical on attaching it to my iso hooks in my car because the fear of it not being able to unlock but it works out well. Finger print works flawlessly but I always keep the key on me just in case. Could have better instructions on the install of the battery. And depending on how available your iso hooks on your car is will define how easy the installation overall will be

I really like the safe. It has a solid build quality which is the most impressive factor in my opinion. The black quilted cover is also very nice and it matches the black interior of my F350 very nicely. It lays nicely under a seat cover for the dog. I would like to see (and ultimately purchase) a white quilted cover for my wife’s SUV as well. I’m not an expert but the biometric fingerprint lock has worked every time I’ve used the safe and that was a potential concern for me. As long as it continues to operate as it has I’ll be happy with it.

This is the best car safe I’ve ever purchased. It’s worth every penny. The company also goes above and beyond when it comes to customer service. Three weeks ago, I couldn’t fit the safe in my backseat, so I contacted the company to return it. Skyler responded quickly via email, asking me what was wrong and why I wanted to return the item. He even sent me a text message asking if I’d like to FaceTime so he could help me install it. You don’t find that kind of customer service anymore. I’ll be a customer for life.

At first I thought it was a bit expensive but now that I received it I was pretty impressed of the size. I have my laptop, my iPad, and my pistol inside and there is still more space. Ingenious safe! Very secure and practical as well. The ability to use a key or combo is nice. I haven't had the grandkids in the car to use it as a booster yet, but secured my carry pistol with confidence. And with the quilted cover, it blends in with my particular vehicle perfectly. My only issue is the lid/latch rattles a bit. I think this is a quick fix by adding more foam for a bit more pressure. I feel it's covert enough to not even throw a jacket over to be less obvious. Overall very worth it, especially at discounted promo prices in which I took advantage of.

I feel much more comfortable leaving my gun in the car (the rare times I have to) knowing it is in the Boosted Safe. Also, when I need to leave valuables in the car, like at the beach or camping, it is much safer than leaving them just hidden in the car or even in the locked glove box. The safe doesn't LOOK like a safe. Plus, if I do need to have a passenger in the back seat, it is easy to take out and put in the trunk. The box itself is sturdy and secure, with tight tolerances to resist prying. Clipping to the child seat supports is easy and also very secure. The locking mechanism is battery operated, with an USB connection for backup. The 5 button code is easy to program with up to 8 characters, and the finger print reader can store up to 50 prints. The mechanical key is disc based, rather than easily picked cylindrical or pin-tumbler locks. When programming the finger print reader, include positions from the top rather than the front, which can be hard to reach once installed.

Easy enough to set up the code and fingerprint once I reviewed the instructions. Installing it in the car was a different matter. I have the recessed or hidden hooks and it was a bit difficult to mount. Now that it is in it works as advertised. The buttons for the code are a bit hard to see because of the placement (toward the front of the back seat) as the back of the front seat gives you a weird angle to see them.

The BoostedSafe Elite has been an excellent addition for me. I have a 2017 Ford Expedition with second row captains chairs. I have the safe locked into the captains chair seat right behind the drivers seat. It locks into the Fords built in LATCH anchors perfectly. Its not going anywhere!
It is large enough for several pistols and magazines. I also use it to lock up other valuable items when needed. With the "booster seat" cover on it.... it looks just like a booster seat. Perfect!

I love the safe. There are several things about this product that set it apart. It is extremely easy to install and uninstall. However, you will not want to uninstall it. The ease of access from the front seat is perfect. A driver can reach back use the fingerprint pad to open easily and have immediate access to your firearm. There is enough room to store multiple firearms, including my AR Pistol, but more importantly can hold your firearm, holster, mags, fanny pack, and valuables. This facilitates you having your weapon and multiple carry options readily available. An unexpected surprise was the reliability of the fingerprint pad. A user can record multiple fingerprints from various positions and for all digits if desired. This allows access from almost all positions with all fingers. All this is offered in a package that really fits in with the vehicle interior. I have homes on both coast’s and, I like the safe so much that I bought one for a vehicle at each site. This product works perfectly for my needs.

Great product. I love it. I love the faraday, bag that was included. Prior to purchasing, looking at the dimensions, I was really looking forward to putting my SB. Finger print detection needs some work had to prod ram the same finger several different time to get it to read finger print from different angels that it may be used to open safe.

I had to modify (extend) the latches for a Volvo XC40 with embedded set up, but the directions worked well. Overall the entire set up works well between appearance, finger pad and code combo.

Honestly I’m in love with this thing. I thought this was a scam because it was advertised on Facebook but I bought it anyway. I love it. It’s really cool. It’s super well thought out. I have a 2016 accord and it snaps right in, it wiggles a little so I tried to rip it out and I couldn’t do it. I bought the fingerprint version. Really neat product.

In the past week, I have left two messages via the website form for contacting customer support and I have not received this response back.
I have the elite model with the fingerprint key and the digits keypad. I’m trying to reprogram my keypad to a new number and I never get the beeps that the video says I should get.
I really like this product. I would like to leave a great review but the customer service in response to my two messages seems pretty poor at this point.

Yes. Every US passenger vehicle built since model year 2003 has the steel child-seat anchors it clips to. It’s federal law. Driving something older, or want it where there are no anchors? Our Universal Anchor Adapter gives it the same steel latch points.
Do I need tools or have to modify anything?
No tools, no drilling, no mods. It clicks into the same anchors a child seat uses. About fifteen seconds in, about fifteen seconds out.
Can’t a thief just take the whole safe?
The release is inside the safe. To take it out of the car you have to unlock it and open it first. No key, code or fingerprint, no removal.
Won’t a thief still break my window?
Maybe. A safe doesn’t stop a rock. What it does is turn a sixty-second payday into a broken window and nothing to show for it. Glass is a few hundred dollars. A pistol, a laptop or a passport the week of your trip is a different kind of day.
Doesn’t the ad tell thieves what to look for?
They can know exactly what it is. It’s still steel, locked to welded steel, and it opens from the inside. Knowing where the bank vault is has never been the hard part.
How do I take it out or move it to another car?
Open it, press the release inside, lift it out. About fifteen seconds. It clicks into your next car the same way, and it’s light enough to carry in one hand.
Can my kid actually sit on it?
Not on the BoostedSafe or the Golden Gate. Those only look like booster seats. The Mini is built as a real booster with a locked compartment inside, and its certification is in progress.
What if someone does break into it?
Then we replace it, free. That’s the break-in guarantee. Power tools and a lot of time beat every safe ever made, which is why we cover it instead of pretending.
Is $399 a lot for a car safe?
It’s a lot for a box on a cable. It’s cheap for the only one locked to the car, and you can split it. It also costs less than the laptop, the pistol, or the passport the week of your trip.
Why not just use the trunk or take it with me?
Do that when you can. This is for the courthouse, the stadium, the gym, the trailhead, the school, the flight: everywhere the sign on the door says no and the trunk release is a button on the dash.
What if they steal the whole car?
Then you have a stolen car, and that’s what insurance is for. Your safe is still locked, still latched to a car with a plate number, and still covered by the break-in replacement.
What if they unbolt the whole seat?
That’s a toolbox, ten minutes and a lot of noise in a parking lot. Smash-and-grabs last under a minute. And they’d still be carrying a locked steel box.
It takes up a seat. What if I need it?
Fifteen seconds and it’s in the trunk. If your back seat is full every single day, this isn’t your safe, and we’d rather tell you now.
I carry on my hip. Why would I need this?
Good. Keep doing that. This is for the places you legally can’t: federal buildings, schools, stadiums, some employers. One customer told us he carries more often now, because he always has somewhere legal to put it.
Does it block key-fob and RF signals?
The safe itself isn’t a signal blocker. The Faraday bag that comes free with the Elite is. Drop your fob in it and relay thieves get nothing.
Is it fireproof or waterproof?
No, and we won’t pretend. It’s a theft safe. Don’t leave batteries or anything heat-sensitive in a closed car in August, safe or no safe.
Is it legal for firearm transport in my state?
It’s a locked steel container attached to the vehicle, which is what most state transport laws ask for. The Golden Gate Elite is California DOJ certified. Store firearms unloaded and check your own state’s rules.
Are these reviews real?

Can I see it in person first?

Can you fill it with Tannerite and shoot it?
