The problem

The build
Engineered to mount to compatible rear-seat anchor points.
Full-size BoostedSafe models are designed to mount to compatible rear-seat LATCH or ISOFIX anchor points, the lower anchor systems commonly found in passenger vehicles for child-restraint installation. The Elite uses biometric, key and digital combination access; the Basic uses manual combination and key access. Both full-size models use a booster-seat-style fabric cover to blend into the rear-seat area. Fit varies by year, make, model, trim, anchor access and seating layout, so check that it fits your car before ordering.

Full-size BoostedSafe models are vehicle safes with a booster-seat-style cover, built for firearms, camera equipment, electronics, tools, documents and everyday valuables. They are not a child booster seat, child car seat or child restraint system. The Golden Gate Elite is certified for firearms: it is on the California DOJ roster of certified firearm safety devices, the only BoostedSafe model that is. Firearms are always stored unloaded. BoostedSafe Mini Elite and Mini Basic are certified backless belt-positioning booster seats under FMVSS 213 with a lockable storage compartment built into the booster-seat footprint, connecting to compatible lower LATCH or ISOFIX anchors. BoostedSafe holds an issued U.S. utility patent on the engineered locking and mounting system. The protected design focuses on how the safe attaches and locks as a vehicle-integrated storage system. That matters because BoostedSafe wasn't built as a generic lock box with a new cover; it was developed around vehicle mounting, rear-seat concealment and practical access.
