Amazing product! I ordered the refurbished unit and honestly it looks and operates like a brand new one. I have set my codes and tested it over a dozen times now, and it operates perfectly! Blends in nicely in the backseat of my Mazda CX50. I ordered the optional brown cover to blend in even more discreetly with my terra-cotta seats, but the black cover looks quite nice too with the black trim on the seats and interior. The different color covers give me options to change them out as I like. Very easy to set up and install.

I was a little worried the Boosted Safe would be more difficult to install than shown in the videos . . . but it was super quick and easy!
It really does look like a booster seat with the cover they provide. Also, there is lots of space inside and they provide several layers of inside foam so you can adjust it easily to whatever you want to place in the safe.
I ordered the manual combo lock as I don't mind turning the combo or using a key.
I love the security of having this ready for whenever I need it!

I just received my combination Boosted Safe today and I have to say it was just as advertised. Installation was was quick and easy (not as quick as the video, but my neoprene seat covers made it a little thicker than normal seats). I like how sturdy it feels and the diamond stitched safe cover does a good job of “blacking it out” so you barely notice is when looking through tinted windows. As this is my 1st day with it, I can’t say much more about its performance. But I am pleased with what I see so far.

I had my doubts paying this much for a safe… but when you do your homework, it all made sense to at least give it a try. I didn’t even try. I bought at night on Monday, got notified that it shipped the next morning Tuesday. It was here Wednesday afternoon… the box itself is a cool target you can use for practice. The safe was beyond easy to install. Setting my own combo was a breeze. Only thing I wish was different was if it were to be built a little bit wider… but turns out they’re already working on exactly that! Do not hesitate to buy this. It is 100% worth it!

I purchased this safe for anytime I have to be without my 2A - hospital visits, airport trips, etc. I feel confident that it will keep my valuables safe from theft. In addition, the idea to make it look like a booster seat is brilliant, as it would not arise suspicion of potential thieves. After seeing their stress tests, I knew I could confidently leave anything in my vehicle and come back to it still intact.
My only suggestion is to include rubber lining on the top or base from the factory, as riding around causes a noticeable sound - like a metal can full of bolts jostling around. Once I added the rubber, it's silent!

First, I can't give it a 5 rating because we haven't had anyone try to steal it. That would be the ultimate test and rating if it holds up to its promise. I can say it was easy as heck to install and setting the new code was also very easy. So far it works as advertised as far as installing and setting up your own code. You can also remove some of the foam padding to increase the amount of space needed. Overall, very happy we got this.

The inserts are great but I can put just my carry in there (unloaded/unholstered) and close it without issue.
The cover is great, I just wish it were a bit longer in front so it would tuck under (maybe 5" or so) so it stays in place better. (the kid side is adorable by the way). I do like that it covers the back of it well so that it doesn't impact my leather seats.

I ordered the Basic model because all of the biometric boxes and safes I have, the biometrics never worked. When I opened my shipment I saw that I had, for whatever reason been shipped a Deluxe model. Ok, it has a key lock and a code lock as well, I can make that work. I programmed a numerical code and while I was at it I put in one fingerprint. Not having had a box of this size before I have been in and out of it dozens of times, figuring out what exactly I want in it. That fingerprint lock has worked every time, first try every time. I tried the numerical code just to make sure I remembered it. I titled this review "Upgrade" because I paid for a Basic. I text the company and told them and also how happy I was and they said "Thanks for the update, glad you like it" no upcharge. Shipped fast too. 10/10

This appears to be a good sturdy product that should keep items safe. It would be nice if there was velcro or something to hold the cover down in the front.

I love this safe and its simplicity and utility. Perfectly does the job as intended and the owner is extraordinarily responsive and helpful!! When I get a second car I will be purchasing another one.
The safe is good but I paid quite a bit for 3 day shipping and it took several weeks to arrive, with no communication from you until I raised hell on facebook.

Love this safe. Super secure and looks great. Wish I could have gotten the biometric version, but I needed that extra inch to fit my "truck gun" and all of its accessories. Even though it is only key operated, it locks very securely and can still be accessed fairly quick.

It snapped in securely with zero effort. The product design, quality and function are outstanding. Black quilted cover on a black interior is invisible through factory tinted rear door widows. I wholeheartedly recommend this product without any reservations.

What was not stressed in the promo material, is how easy it is to disconnect and remove from the vehicle. Not cheap, but well worth the cost, as Virginia now has some silly locking requirements, and this means we will be in full compliance.

Very good product. Will definitely slow at Thief down. I feel much better about leaving guns and valuables in my car when I go to walk, if I don't want to take everything with me. When I visit family I typically take a folding long gun, and it's nice to be able to walk into a gas station without having to worry about that being in the car not being locked up. With the combination lock and key backup I don't have to worry about power being out of my vehicle. It is a little bit slower to get into I would guess, but I like the reliability of being able to get into it.

This basic model It's very difficult to open & even harder to close. Twisting the knob to unlock & lock it is definitely not a smooth mechanical transition, and it is extremely hard for me to turn the little knob. I don't think this is normal.
