Can my department buy in bulk?

Does it meet my department’s storage policy?
We can’t answer for your department. Here’s what it is: a locked steel container that latches to the vehicle’s child-seat anchors, with the release inside the safe. Show your policy to your supervisor.
Is it a certified gun safe?
The Golden Gate Elite is. The California DOJ lists it as an approved firearm safety device: see the listing. It’s the only Boosted Safe with that certification. The Golden Gate Basic hasn’t been tested yet.
Can I store a loaded firearm in it?
Store firearms unloaded. That is how we ask every owner to use it.
Will it fit my take-home or unmarked car?
Most passenger vehicles from the 2003 model year on have the anchors in the back seat. Heavy-duty pickups over 8,500 lb and regular cabs may not. Check yours in a minute.
How fast is it?
The Elite opens with a fingerprint in about a second. Backlit keypad and a key behind that.
Can a thief just take the whole safe?
It is latched to steel anchors welded to the car’s body, and the release is inside the safe. To take it out, someone has to open it first. With enough time and enough tools nothing is secure. Our job is to make a smash-and-grab need far more of both than a thief brings to a parking lot.
What if I don’t like it?
Put it in your car and live with it. If it isn’t for you, send it back inside 30 days for a refund. Defects are covered for as long as you own it.
