For years, BoostedSafe has built vehicle safes that blend into the back seat. The new BoostedSafe Mini takes that idea one step further: a certified, crash-tested backless belt-positioning booster seat with a locking hidden safe built inside.
What makes the Mini different
The original BoostedSafe Elite and BoostedSafe Basic are vehicle safes designed to resemble a booster seat. The Mini is built the other way around.
BoostedSafe Mini is a working backless belt-positioning booster seat with lockable storage integrated inside. There is no separate disguise cover to install or remove. When it sits in your back seat, it reads as a booster seat because it is one.
The Mini has been independently crash-tested by a third-party testing facility. Final standard and certification details will be published before the product ships, so customers have the documentation before delivery.
One seat. Three jobs.
BoostedSafe Mini is designed for families who already use the back seat every day. It combines child booster-seat function, hidden lockable storage, and anchor-based vehicle attachment in one rear-seat footprint.
| Feature | What it means | Why families care |
|---|---|---|
| Certified booster seat | A crash-tested backless belt-positioning booster with cushion, armrests, and shoulder-belt positioning guide. | Your child can ride in it when used within the final product instructions, child fit requirements, and vehicle requirements. |
| Hidden lockable storage | A built-in compartment keeps small valuables out of plain sight. | Passports, phones, wallets, keys, IDs, cards, and compact essentials have a better place than the glove box. |
| Anchor-based attachment | Mini connects to compatible lower LATCH or ISOFIX anchors in the rear seat. | The release points are protected inside the locked compartment, so it is not simply sitting loose in the vehicle. |
Two models are available for pre-order
The Mini Elite and Mini Basic share the same booster-plus-safe concept. The main difference is how you open the hidden compartment.

Pre-order Mini BasicWhat fits inside
BoostedSafe Mini is compact by design. It holds less than the larger BoostedSafe Elite because the Mini has to function as a real backless booster seat first.
The hidden compartment is designed for the smaller items families carry every day and do not want sitting loose or visible inside the vehicle.
| Good fit | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Passports, IDs, payment cards, and cash | Travel documents and payment items stay together in one discreet place. |
| Wallets, phones, and key fobs | The items families misplace or leave visible most often get a locked storage spot. |
| Watches, sunglasses, jewelry, and earbuds | Small valuables can stay out of sight during errands, games, beach days, and road trips. |
| Compact purses, clutches, and personal items | Small essentials can be stored when they fit completely inside and do not interfere with closure. |
| Compatible lawful personal-protection devices | If a personal-protection device is stored while the Mini is also being used as a booster seat, follow the product instructions, keep it unloaded, and follow all applicable storage laws. |
How it attaches to your vehicle
BoostedSafe Mini installs in a compatible rear seating position with accessible lower child-restraint anchors and a correctly positioned lap-and-shoulder belt.
Those lower anchors are commonly called LATCH in the United States and ISOFIX internationally. Lower anchors are typically located in the seat bight, the space between the vehicle seat back and bottom cushion.
To remove the Mini from the vehicle, you must first unlock and open the storage compartment, then access the internal release points. That design keeps the attachment controls protected while the safe is closed and locked.
Will it fit your vehicle?
Fit depends on the vehicle and the child. BoostedSafe Mini needs a compatible rear seating position with accessible lower child-restraint anchors, a correctly positioned lap-and-shoulder belt, and any head support required by the product and vehicle manuals.
Compatibility can vary by year, make, model, trim, seat shape, seating position, and anchor location. Booster-seat use also requires using the product within the final height and weight limits printed on the product label and instruction manual.
Before ordering, check the Will It Fit My Vehicle page and review your vehicle owner’s manual.

Everyday use cases
The Mini is built for families who use every inch of the vehicle. It gives one rear-seat product more than one job.
Booster-seat use and lockable storage for the essentials that ride with your family.
Store passports, wallets, payment cards, IDs, keys, and small travel essentials in one locked location.
Lock phones, wallets, keys, watches, and cards before leaving the vehicle.
Keep wallets, phones, watches, small electronics, and keys secured during games, practices, and events.
Why booster fit still matters
A booster seat is meant to help position the vehicle lap-and-shoulder belt correctly for a child. That means the product has to fit the child, fit the vehicle, and be used in the correct seating position.
BoostedSafe Mini adds hidden storage, but it does not change the basic booster-seat responsibility. Parents and caregivers should always follow the product label, product manual, vehicle owner’s manual, and all applicable child passenger safety rules.
